How
we Work
Your
safety and our compliance with the ethics of Eco-tourism
and cultural exchange are important parts of our mission
to inform, educate, and inspire. Though we can not predict
everything, extensive practical experience in the region
has allowed us to attend to important and necessary details
that will ensure your satisfaction.
We
work only with licensed and experienced travel professionals
in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil. Our programs have features
that most travel operators and agencies have not thought
of, or don't have access to. Our commitment is to recognize
the cultures of Amazônia, and other natural areas
of Brazil, respect the integrity of the forest and its people,
support the local economy, and make new friends.
We
do not serve groups larger than 16 people in a single program.
We also avoid crowded areas, hotels, and resorts that we
feel are less than socially and ecologically oriented. The
exception may be in the case of city tours, or additional
trips and festivals you may decide to participate in.
