Jungletrekkers are professionals from different walks of life, committed to helping Amazonians from the backwaters become better recognized in the world, but also more self-sufficient.
 
By working with reputable and experienced professionals, we ensure your safety and satisfaction. By partnering with local communities and employing local people, we support the Amazon economy in a sustainable way within its boundaries. Runners get to meet the people who benefit from the race during the race, and at the finish line. You may also follow up on the progres of these projects after the race.
 
We are also partnering with organizations working towards environmental education, health, or conservation projects that benefit communities in the Rio Preto region, where the race is held. 10% of your registration fee, and other proceedings, will go towards the introduction and implementation of these projects each year.  We encourage you to raise additional funds. We will use all of our partnering Web sites and media outlets to raise awareness, give updates, and highlight runner’and sponsor’s contributions towards these causes.
