Luiz is a native of Brazil,
a former award winning television news anchor and reporter, and
producer of many new media and television programs. Living in the
U.S. since 1990, he has experienced and managed all facets of broadcast,
corporate, and new media projects, including High-Definition, short
TV series, magazine features, live interactive TV, distance learning,
training, webcasts, CD-ROM, and DVD. His live interactive wide-screen
broadcast about the Mississippi River was the first of its kind.
It aired on several PBS stations accross the nation in May of 1999
and was nominated for an Emmy award.
Mr. Lobo has shared his
vision on the future of "digital media and knowledge" in several
conferences and workshops in the U.S., Canada, and Brazil. His connections
in U.S. and Brazilian television, and travel industries have spawned
a variety of new television programs that will be made available
in the U.S. in the Spring, 2001.
Luiz founded DTVisions
in August of 1999. He has degrees in broadcast journalism, film
and television production, and a Master's in Information Design
and Technology.
